Please use the SRMv2 system when preparing your submission and use the template for SGP 2018 available on the SRMv2 website.

Submission

Papers are submitted using the Submission and Review Management (SRMv2) system. Papers must be anonymized, written in English and prepared according to this year's template, which can be found here. Review of full papers is based on a double-blind reviewing approach, so please be sure to remove all personal data (such as authors, affiliations, etc.) from your submission. References to your own work should be made in the third person to maintain anonymity. Reviewers are asked to keep confidential all materials sent to them for evaluation. A preliminary abstract is due by 23:59 GMT, Friday, April 6th, 2018, and the full paper deadline is 23:59 GMT, Thursday, April 12th, 2018. Note that a full paper can only be submitted if an abstract has been submitted by the abstract deadline.

Proceedings

The SGP proceedings will appear as a regular issue of Computer Graphics Forum, the International Journal of the EUROGRAPHICS Association. The journal status of the proceedings requires a two-stage review process with conditional acceptance after the first round and final acceptance based on the revised submissions.

Presentation at SGP 2018

Accepted papers must be presented orally in English at the Symposium on Geometry Processing 2018. To give the presenters more time to plan their trip and apply for visas, the authors are already invited to present their paper at SGP 2018 after conditional acceptance. Still, publication in the proceedings requires passing the second stage of the review process.

Paper Length

SGP 2018 does not impose a strict maximum length for submitted papers. However, Computer Graphics Forum and SGP 2018 recommend that research papers be up to 10 pages (in CGF latex style including all images but excluding references). Papers should only be as long as their content would justify. Reviewers might rate a submission lower if it is perceived as being unnecessarily long. Authors are encouraged to use supplementary documents to provide extra content.
