Both the graduate school and the main conference of SGP 2018 will take place in the Télécom ParisTech building, located on 46 rue Barrault in Paris, shown on the map below.
The closest metro stations include Corvisart (line 6), Tolbiac (line 7) and Cité Universitaire (RER).
Perhaps the simplest way to get there from the airport (both Charles de Gaulle and Orly) is to take the RER line B, and get off at Cité Universitaire (RER), from where it is approximately a 15 minute walk. Alternatively, as mentioned on the Télécom website, you can switch to line 6 at the Denfert Rochereau station and get off at Corvisart, which is closer.
Social Event directions
The social event will take place on Tuesday July 10th, at Restaurant 58 Tour Eiffel.
There are currently increased security measures around the Eiffel tower so it is very important to follow the access instructions below (also included in the conference package).
To get to the restaurant from the conference venue, the simplest is to take metro line 6 (from the Corvisart stop in the direction of Charles de Gaulle–Étoile) and get off at the Bir Hakeim station. The following map describes the path from the conference to the meeting point next to the Eiffel tower. Note that your conference package should include 2 metro tickets.
Important: we have to access the restaurant as a group. This will allow us to skip the lines and take the elevator directly to the restaurant. The meeting time is 20h30, and the meeting point is next ot the security check point, on the entrance located next to Avenue Suffren, as described on the diagram below the map. Please make sure to bring your conference badge with you.
